Welcome to Schoolistix (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our web-based school management platform hosted at https://schoolistix.com (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
School Accounts: To use Schoolistix, a School Owner or Director must register the school and create an administrative account.
Account Responsibility: The School Administrator is fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials, including session security and secure JSON Web Token (JWT) management.
Authorized Access: You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your school’s account or dashboard workspace.
Core Workflows: Schoolistix provides a clean, web-based dashboard designed to help school administrators manage daily operational workflows, including students, teachers, classes, subjects, attendance tracking, and academic result processing.
Data Isolation: Access to the Service is strictly scoped to the logged-in school. Administrators, teachers, and students may only view or manage data explicitly assigned to their specific school instance.
Ownership of School Data: The registered school retains full ownership, intellectual property rights, and control over all records inputted into the system, including student profiles, employee files, grades, and attendance data.
Data Responsibility: The school is solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, legality, and integrity of the data entered into the platform.
Cloud Storage and Uploads: File uploads, including student profile images and employee passport photos, are processed via our third-party media infrastructure (Cloudinary). Uploads must not violate any copyrights or local institutional regulations.
You agree not to:
Bypass or attempt to circumvent security measures, including protected API routes and JWT authentication guards.
Use the Service to store or transmit duplicate, malicious, or fraudulent data (such as intentionally falsified academic reports or duplicate attendance sheets).
Attempt to modify, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the frontend Vue.js dashboard or backend database layers.
Continuous Improvement: We continuously update, stabilize, and refine the Schoolistix platform. This includes upgrading backend database foundations (such as our phased migration toward a high-scale PostgreSQL layer) to ensure your school’s system runs efficiently.
Technical Resilience: While we strive for maximum uptime, the Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We are not liable for any operational disruptions or administrative downtime.
Pricing Tiers: Access to specific operational modules (including standard records management, advanced results processing, or premium features) is governed by the specific tier selected by your institution.
Modifications: We reserve the right to alter subscription tiers or billing structures with prior notifications to registered school owners.
By the School: School administrators can choose to stop using the Service at any time.
By Schoolistix: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any school workspace that violates these Terms or engages in activities that threaten the security and data isolation of our platform.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
