These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Schoolistix platform and related services (the “Platform”) provided by Schoolistix Operator (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Platform is designed for educational administration, student management, parent communication, attendance tracking, finance, academic records, and related school operations.
To access the Platform, users may be required to create an account and provide accurate information, including but not limited to full name, email address, phone number, role, and school affiliation.
Users must ensure:
– Their information is accurate and up to date
– They do not share their account credentials with others
– They are authorized to act on behalf of the school, student, parent, or staff member they represent
We may suspend or terminate access where a user violates these Terms or where use is not authorized.
The Platform supports different user types, including:
– School administrators
– Staff and teachers
– Students
– Parents/guardians
– Finance officers
– School owners or super administrators
Each role may have different access permissions. Access is granted based on the school’s configuration and authorization rules.
Users must use the Platform only for lawful educational, administrative, and communication activities related to a school or academic institution. Users may not:
– Use the Platform for unlawful activities
– Attempt to access data or systems they are not authorized to access
– Upload malicious content, spam, or harmful files
– Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
– Share confidential information outside authorized channels
The Platform may be used to store and manage school records, including student information, attendance records, fees, assignments, results, notices, library records, communication, and operational data.
Users are responsible for entering accurate records and ensuring they comply with applicable laws, school policies, and relevant privacy obligations.
Where the Platform includes finance or invoicing features, users agree that:
– Fees may be generated according to approved school policies and fee structures
– Invoices and payment records may be displayed or exported through the Platform
– School administrators or designated finance officers are responsible for final approval of billing information
We are not a payment processor unless separately stated in writing.
The Platform may include AI-powered tools such as early warning alerts, report comments, insights, content generation, and quiz generation.
These tools are provided to assist school staff and administrators. AI-generated outputs are advisory in nature and should be reviewed by qualified personnel before use in official academic, financial, or legal decisions.
The Platform, including its software, interfaces, branding, content, design, and data models, is owned by us or licensed to us. Users may not:
– Copy, reproduce, or resell the Platform or its components without permission
– Use our branding or trademarks in a misleading or unauthorized way
– Extract or misuse proprietary content from the Platform
Users remain responsible for content they upload or submit to the Platform, including educational materials, notices, assignments, messages, and documents.
We may review, moderate, or remove content that violates applicable law, these Terms, or school policy.
We may suspend or terminate a user’s access to the Platform if they violate these Terms, misuse the Platform, or if the school or institution requests account removal.
Upon termination, we may restrict access to data and records in accordance with school policies and applicable legal requirements.
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or complete accuracy of all data or AI-generated content.
We do not warrant that the Platform will meet every user’s specific requirement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Platform.
Our liability, if any, shall not exceed the fees paid for the Platform in the relevant period, if applicable.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data, but no digital system is completely immune to security incidents. Users should not share sensitive credentials or confidential information through unsecured channels.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the school or organization operates, unless otherwise stated by contract. If a dispute arises, users agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
